What this site is
MyPesticideLicense provides free practice questions to help you prepare for a pesticide applicator certification exam. It is a study aid, nothing more.
What it is not
This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the Ohio Department of Agriculture, Ohio State University Extension, or any state pesticide regulatory agency. Nothing here is an official publication of any of them.
The questions on this site are original material written against the published exam scope. They are not actual exam questions, and no representation is made that any question will appear on an exam.
No guarantee of passing
Scoring well here does not mean you will pass. Scoring badly here does not mean you will fail. The exam you sit is written and administered by your state, changes without notice, and is the only thing that decides your result. Use these tests to find gaps in what you know, not to predict an outcome.
Confirm requirements with your state
Licensing requirements, category definitions, fees, exam formats and recertification rules change, and they differ from state to state. Ohio replaced two category exams within the last two years. Always confirm current requirements directly with your state pesticide regulatory agency before applying or testing. Do not rely on this site for that.

Nothing here is legal, regulatory, agronomic or safety advice, and it does not replace a product label. The label is the law. When something on this site disagrees with the label in your hand, follow the label.
Your account
An account is free and optional. Keep access to the email address on it, since that is how you sign in. You are responsible for what happens under your account. We may close accounts that are used to abuse the service, and we may stop offering accounts at any time, though the tests themselves stay free.
Using the material
The questions, explanations and text on this site are ours. You are welcome to use them to study, and instructors are welcome to point students here. Republishing the question banks elsewhere, or scraping them in bulk, is not permitted. If you want to use this material in a training program, ask — the answer is usually yes.

We link to agency pages, manuals and Extension resources because they are useful. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or availability.
